Saturday, June 10, -10am –Memorial Pet Walk –Blue Ash Summit Park-THE GREAT LAWN
(4335 Glendale-Milford Rd. Blue Ash, 45242)
*One of the core goals of Angel’s Paws is to help AMAZING pet parents like you, transition through admittedly the hardest phase of your relationship with your pet, to the other side saying “With the support of Angel’s Paws, I can adopt and love again!” rather than “I will never have another pet!” Over the years, you send us pictures of your new adoptees, which we LOVE! With our annual Memorial Pet Walk we take it a step further and create an opportunity to meet the new loves of your lives. Those new loves, have big paws to fill, so at the same time we want to remember whose paws they are filling by bringing your new dog to walk in honor of your beloved past pet or pets! Bring sibling pets too! The memorial walk is also for cat parents! If your feline doesn’t happen to enjoy a stroll with a bunch of adorable canines, then please come and walk for them! We can’t wait to see you and meet your new additions! No RSVP required.
June 22, 2017, 6-7:30pm – Soul Pet Social Gathering @Angel’s Paws
*In between Soul Pet Book Club sessions, we will take an evening to have a social gathering to enjoy each others company, debrief on the book and meet others interested in joining the next session. We will charge our normal $10 fee to cover staffing costs to have our building open during that time and some light refreshments.
July 6, 2017, 6-7:30pm (and every other week for 4 Sessions)- Soul Pet Book Club @Angel’s Paws – “JACK McAFGHAN: Reflections on Life with My Master” by Kate McGahan
*This will be a facilitated group and we will be taking a deep dive into loss and grief, through thoughtful discussions about books on death and the possibility of an afterlife. This may sound depressing but I assure you this will be a very uplifting approach. We will switch each session between a pet-focused book and human-focused book.
The Soul Pet book series is a facilitated group and the fee is $10 per person per session, plus the cost of the book. After the 4-week session we will have a social gathering to debrief, socialize and connect with others interested in joining the next Soul Pet session.
RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org Please pre-read the first 60 pages of the book for the first meeting.
